Because all Døgn data lives locally on your Mac, backing it up is up to you too. Under „Settings → Data" you back up your entire data set and restore it whenever you need to.
Back up and restore
The „Backup" area saves „your entire data set to a single file". „Back Up Now…" creates a backup, „Restore…" plays one back; „Last backup: …" shows the state of the last save. After a restore, Døgn quits once to restart cleanly.
Encryption & automatic backups
Optionally, you protect your backups with a „Backup password" („Set Password" / „Remove Password"). If you enable „Automatic backup", Døgn regularly — „Daily", „Weekly" or „Every 2 weeks" — writes a backup to the chosen folder.
Important: without the password you set, an encrypted backup cannot be restored — keep it somewhere safe.
Archive and license
Also in the „Data" tab: „Archived Items" holds deleted clients and projects that you remove permanently with „Delete Forever". And under „License" you activate Døgn with your license key — a one-time purchase, free updates included.
